leaving on a jet plane
neither of us can find the words to say, yet we both feel the pain.
turn your back and walk away, it haunts.
it seeped into our consiousness we refused to acknowledge
thought we were cool
now we're plagued by this feeling we ourselves are unable to explain.
play that song. maybe in five years time.
there she sat, with her phone in her hand. she waits with anxiety and read the truth being place in front of her. with that, everything came flooding back, memories, conversations, promises, lies. Lies. it pains her as every word pierced her heart like a double-edged sword. she had to see it herself
so she ran, ran right straight into what numbed her. and she saw. then she fell.
