wipe those tears
--
i heard a story about a lamb today.
this lamb was nothing extraordinary but it somehow caught my eye.
lamb had many friends and they had lots of fun together. she spent most of her days wandering the wide pastures without a worry in her mind.
lamb then met a good friend, the friend turned into her partner. lamb grew dependent on her partner for strength, support and encouragement. to her, the partner was family, was her best friend, was her everything.
however, behind the fascade of her carefree, free-spirited self, lamb was weak, she was sick. and as the days past, she grew weaker and weaker and her friends left her one by one. lamb was extremely sad, those fellow mates she called friends were just there to have a piece of her.
nevertheless, lamb pressed on for she knew she had her partner.
but it wasnt too long when her partner had to leave; had expectations to meet, obligations to fulfil. reluctant as lamb was, she had to let go for she did not want to hold her partner back.
so as winter came, lamb gradually disappeared into the thick cover of snow, wipping all traces of evidence that she ever existed. and slowly, lamb faded out of the memories of others, and she was long forgotten.
what a story.
of a lamb.
