a couple of days ago i watched a documentary about Muslims living in US and the discrimination they have to put up with, and just a while ago i watched another regarding the homeless GLBT people.
what is up with documentaries and making people cry?
guess they offer us insights and a short excursion into their lives, which no matter how we try, will never be able to wholly understand. you would think one will tear upon seeing how "disadvantaged" they are and how they are ill treated by society. but no... instead, it was those moments when they spoke with such courage and strength despite the odds they are placed in that caused my tap to flow.

after looking at the donuts on jill's blog, i cant help but crave for my own. but krispy kreme here is sooooo overrated. and dunkin absolutely sucks. wait... was it dunkin? oh well, i'm referring to the extremely bright coloured ones that uni and melbcentral sells.
i think somehow donuts seem to be able to offer you a great deal of satisfaction. but when you pop it in your mouth, it turns out to be a complete disappointment. why??????!
