Fairy tales disgust me.

watched Cinderella earlier in the night with mel and amy. the show was alright, though i must say their over exaggerated mushy-ness kinda made my yummy ichiban boshi dinner turn somewhere along my gastrointestinal tract.
so i skipped work today and visited mini with mel for a bit before i took off to meet junyi. like a proper shop walk talk day after 1.5 years? it was way overdue and i must say, it felt like the old times again.

anw, so the polls are in. thanks for all the sms-es and calls people. i've decided to CALL OFF the party and use the money to pamper myself instead.
like how weif plainly puts it "why spend money on your friends, might as well just spend on yourself" haha
speaking of which, shopping with weif was absolutely fantastic, it really did open my eyes to loads of hidden gems.

so.. we decided to put the money to good use and take a trip out of the country after my wisdom tooth (i hope it's tooth and not teeth) op. and now that i just heard from ching about her blowing 1.4k in 2 days over in that place, we better get our wallets ready to shop till we drop. LITERALLY. (then again, ching does tend to overspend and overshop)
okay. it's back to morning work tmr again and maybe a day out with weif again? or a stay in tv session with nothing but me, my couch and my lap top. if only dee was here to keep me company and hop on me.

i dont understand why dear friend likes about singapore. yah.. there's friends, maybe family yada yada.. but... STILL? sorry dear friend, i have to quote this from the conversation we just had cause it's mind boggling and i simply DON'T GET IT?!
like, if you havent stepped out of sg, yes, sg is great.. i once thoguht that too. but now that you/we have experienced the greener grass on the other end, why would anyone want to come back to poor, low digestibility pasture.
it's like eating dead herbage, why would anyone choose that over like green forages or something. (GAWD i cant remember my AHMW)
no people, please know that i'm not actually trying to condemn this place where you call home, and frankly, my mum and sis call home too. but... please help me understand what is it here that you guys hold so dearly too? give me a different perspective other than what i already have.
