Just in a day's time, the red carpet will be laid--Lights, music, cameras and not forgetting the glitz and the glam.
Vaunt 2.
Just in a flash, a year has passed and it's time for take2 for the event that drew thousands end may last year.
i was one of the many faces in the crowd, all wanting a slice and glimpse of this experience.
somehow or rather, the happenings on that particular day is still a fresh memory in my mind.
and as i delve harder, i found that it is not that big of a surprise.. for the event was nothing less than a legend.
Even though i'm stuck far away in Melbourne. Vaunt 2 has and will impact my life and many others out there. And this time around, my thoughts on Vaunt are far more personal and certain. For i am now armoured with the insights on the actual work and dedication the organisers, crew has contributed to make this night a special affair for each individual out there.
I wish i could be there. I really do. To witness the unfolding of such a great feat, to stand by my dear friends and lend them a helping hand, to feel the sense of achievement and pride, to wow myself away by the work of the young designers. To find myself in the midst of all the faces, taking in, breathing in and living it.
So while you're out there reading this, do think about yourself and the experience you could live.
and a note to my friends who are right now crafting this: Press on, for the rewards are sweet. Nothing. Nothing, can take this night away from you.
